It was a joyous morning today at Lowther Hall as we held our inaugural "Blessing of the Animals"! Girls in Sampford House brought almost 30 pet dogs (and some very brave cats!) to the blessing held by our Chaplain Reverend Emily Fraser, and we gave thanks for them and the animals of the world.

Today we celebrated International Women's Day by holding our annual Lowther Women Luncheon! As part of the event, almost 200 guests listened...

We were sad to bid farewell to our French exchange students! Visiting from our sister school, La Malgrange in Nancy, the students have been living with their Lowther host families for two weeks, learning about Australian culture and helping our girls to refine their French language skills. We will see them later in the year when Lowther girls visit France on their study tour!

​The Lowther Women Luncheon is back! Bookings are now open for this wonderful event, held on International Women's Day to celebrate the enormous contribution made by women to Lowther Hall.

​It was a proud day for our Year 6 girls during their Raymond House Commencement Service, as they were officially commissioned and dedicated as leaders for 2018!

​Last Friday evening we had the great pleasure of officially opening our new Blinkbonnie House, and Mary Thurman Recital Space! We were delighted to have Mrs H Mary Armour (Class of 43')...

​Be guided on a tour of our School by Lowther Hall students! Our ‘School Tours’ Day will be held Saturday 10 February. Kindergarten to Year 12 tours will commence at 9.30am, and Year 7 to Year 12 tours will commence at 11.00am.

Today our Year 12 girls took part in our Senior School Commencement Service, during which they were Dedicated and pledged to act as role models within the School Community. They formed a 'circle of light' inside the Cultural Centre to symbolically represent their year of leadership ahead at Lowther!

It was wonderful to see all girls from Years 1-12 back at Lowther Hall today, and especially exciting to unveil our new Blinkbonnie House.

The results are in! Lowther Hall is the highest ranked school in Melbourne's North West! Congratulations to the Class of 2017 and their dedicated teachers on this outstanding result.
