Thank you to everyone who made last Friday’s Twilight Festival such a success! In particular I would like to acknowledge the work of Festival Coordinator and PFA Committee Member, Mrs Maria Englezakis, whose energy and work, was central in bringing about the event. Thank you, too, to PFA President, Mrs Jacqui Costanzo, for her hours of dedicated work and assistance in the lead up to the Festival. There were so many others who contributed to this magnificent community evening: Lowther Hall Staff – particularly Ms Alicia Jenkins, Mrs Katrina Dunn, Ms Leah Capuano, Mr David Borg, Mr Larry Rouse, the Property and Operations staff, the Business Office led by Mr Simon Oldham, the Communications Team, the Visual Arts Department, Administrative staff and the teachers and support staff who worked as volunteers on the night. A special thank you all the volunteers – led by the PFA Committee Members, who looked after stalls, supervised rides, cooked and served food, facilitated activities, sold raffle tickets and participated in all things on offer! Finally, to our sponsors and donors who gave goods, items and experiences – thank you for all your generosity. A particular thank you to the Cole family for sponsoring the fireworks which provided a spectacular end to the night! Final tallies are still being undertaken but we expect that in the vicinity of $20,000 will have been raised. Thank you to all who assisted and attended.
