I am excited to be heading down to Geelong today to cheer on our Senior School Rowing Squad at the Head of the Schoolgirls Rowing Regatta! Rowing is just one of the many cocurricular activities that are well underway this year, with girls passionately pursuing a variety of sports, musical endeavours, debating, chess and public speaking. We know that involvement in these types of activities assists in keeping girls not only physically healthy, but mentally positive as well. Of course, busy schedules need to be managed so that girls still have enough time to complete set homework, consolidate learning that has happened through the day and revise in preparation for forthcoming assessments. Parents play a vital role in maintaining routines and assisting girls to manage their time and prioritise their commitments. Please do not hesitate to contact us at the School if you would feel that your daughter needs more assistance either regarding involvement in cocurricular activities or in managing her time.
