The Elisabeth Murdoch Hall at the Melbourne Recital Centre is an impressive venue for the audience and our performers and it will be a wonderful experience for them, playing in that environment to a full house. I am particularly excited to hear the especially composed piece written for the School by Mr Paul Jarman, to be performed for the first time at the concert. I look forward to seeing many of you there.

Father’s Day Breakfast   

We are very excited about this special celebration with girls and their special guest on Friday 5 September. This year, the Junior School and Senior School Breakfasts have been combined, allowing fathers with girls across the School to celebrate at one event. In preparation for Friday morning, each girl attending is invited to email one photo of herself with her Dad to be shown as part of a digital display during the course of the breakfast. Photos should be emailed by Wednesday 3 September to bahardeenn@lowtherhall.vic.edu.au.  

Summer Uniform Changeover

With the lovely weather experienced recently it would appear that the winter chills will soon be past. As we move into Spring there will be an optional changeover period to summer uniform in the final week of Term 3.  Summer uniform items should be checked during next week to ensure that the various pieces are neat and correct and that dresses are the appropriate length since last worn. Students can make an informed decision about whether to wear summer or winter uniform in the last week of Term 3 and first two weeks of Term 4. Full summer uniform must be worn from Week 3 in Term 4, that is, from 20 October.
