Celebrating Success in VCE, New Spaces and House Performing Arts
One month into Autumn and the leaves on the trees in the school grounds have changed to a palette of vibrant colours much to the delight of the Kinder girls.
Welcome back to Term 2 which has started with the usual buzz of excitement. Yesterday began with our whole school assembly and some wonderful performances by our band girls and 2 of our outstanding pianists.
As everyone knows, last weekend the School community took part in the Moonee Valley Relay for Life. It was wonderful to see the efforts of students, families, staff, Old Grammarians, friends and supporters contributing to this fundraising event.
As I write in the Bulletin today, I have just farewelled internationally renowned educator and learning spaces expert, Stephen Heppell who visited Lowther Hall today.
This week has seen the launch of our MyRead program for Senior School students.
The final weekend is almost upon us. That’s right, the Head of Schoolgirls’ weekend!
Three students at Lowther Hall Anglican Grammar School Essendon were rewarded for their talent and dedication at the Victorian Junior Track and Field Championships held at Lakeside Stadium last weekend.
Well-known local dance identity Arna Singleton realised a dream last week, when she shared the stage with the world famous entertainer Madonna.
Lowther staff and students have been invited by Independent Schools Victoria (ISV) to feature in a video presentation outlining exemplary practice in teaching Japanese.
